Mayor Frank A. Sedita Elementary School is a pre K—8 inner-city school located in the heart of the West Side of Buffalo. Total enrollment is approximately 665 students with three to four sections each of kindergarten through sixth grade. Average class size for K-6 is 20. Approximately 97% of the student population qualify for free or reduced lunch. Forty-four percent of the student body are Limited English Proficient (LEP).
