Located in Westchester County, Brookside School is one of five schools in the Ossining Union Free School District. The school houses grades 1 and 2 and has a total enrollment of 638 student and an average class size of 23. Thirty-three percent of the students receive either a free or reduced lunch. The student body is made up of 47% Hispanic/Latino, 33% White, 13% African American, 5% Asian decent and the remaining 1% are multiracial. Of those students, 20% are Limited English Proficient (LEP).
